Welcome, Friend!

I’m Vendula Hausnerova—agility enthusiast, world traveler, and life lover. My journey began in Liptovský Hrádok, a small mountain town in Slovakia, where I first stepped onto an agility field in 2000 at the age of 12. Little did I know that this sport would become the heart of my life’s adventure.

Throughout my agility journey, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing the sport from multiple perspectives—first as a competitor, then earning my judging license in 2011, and later as a trainer. Each role has given me a unique appreciation for the magic that unfolds between handler and dog on the course.

Over the years, I’ve competed with five incredible dogs, earned multiple Slovak Champion titles (2005-2007, 2017), and proudly represented Slovakia at the Agility World Championship and European Open from 2016 to 2019. I’ve also had the honor of judging and coaching in most European countries, as well as Australia, Japan, Singapore, the USA, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

But my path wasn’t always so clear. In my twenties, life led me to Prague, where I completed my Finance studies and spent several years in the corporate world. I felt the need for change but didn’t quite dare to leap—until, one day, I finally did. I quit my office job, packed my bags, and with my dog Eliot—the coolest poodle you could ever meet—by my side, stepped into the unknown.

That single decision changed everything. Since then, I’ve devoted my life to my two greatest passions: agility and travel. The journey has been colorful, diverse, and deeply fulfilling, filled with unforgettable moments, inspiring people, and life stories that have shaped me along the way.

Life has taught me that the best moments often come when we dare to follow our hearts—even when the path ahead is uncertain. Sometimes, all it takes is that first brave step.

In 2023, I found myself in an ashram beneath the Himalayan peaks, where my journey took an unexpected but beautiful turn. This experience opened a whole new dimension of self-discovery, deepening my connection to mindfulness and yoga philosophy—both of which now naturally weave into my approach to life and training.

Over the years, I’ve realized that agility isn’t just about training dogs—it’s about training the mind, too. The nerves, the self-doubt, the overthinking… they can make or break a run, yet we rarely talk about them.

That’s why I now focus much more on the mental part of this game we call agility. Through online courses and workshops, I share simple, practical tools to help handlers stay present, trust themselves, and enjoy the process—both in agility and in life. Because when our mind works with us, everything feels easier.

I’m grateful that you’ve found your way to this page. I hope you’ll discover what you’re looking for here. Maybe you’ll find some motivation, a gentle “you can do it” nudge, or ways to cultivate inner peace and self-love. It would be an honor to be part of your journey.
